A full list of forty people who were killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the Mallagum Community in Southern Kaduna on the 13th of December has been released.

The forty persons who were killed in Mallagum, Sakong, and Matatukum communities were buried amidst tears on Thursday.
The armed men arrived in Mallagum on motorcycles to attack the people of the community.

Speaking, an eyewitness who spoke to BNNNigeria reports, Bishop Yakubu Kunbi revealed that the attack on the people was deliberate.

“As far as we know, the motivation for these attacks is a deliberate plan to unleash evil and terrify our people because we do not share the same religion or because we oppose their violent activities on our land.
At first, we thought the military driving up and down Main Street had come into town to provide security because an attack had been rumored for days.”
Many residents rushed toward the men, thinking help was on the way, and they opened fire, he said.
“Those running for help saw them and ran towards them helter-skelter, and that was the end of their journey on earth,” another eye witness Dominic explained.
So far, no terrorist has been convicted for the massacres of people in Southern Kaduna since 2015.
