Police Arrest Eleven Suspects Caught with Human Head

Eleven suspects have been arrested with nine dry human skulls, a fresh human head and other sensitive body parts by the Oyo State Police Command.

It was gathered that the suspects who specialize in organ harvesting and trade for ritual purposes were arrested in their hideout at the Orita Aperin area of Ibadan in February 2023.

The 11 suspects confessed that the dry human skulls were harvested from corpses at burial grounds, while the fresh human head and other body organs were reaped from persons after being butchered by their tycoon, known as Amuludun who is now at large.

Meanwhile, the wife of one of the suspects claimed that her husband is an Islamic cleric and was amazed at how he got a human skull in his office. 

Similarly, another 16 alleged kidnappers and armed robbers were arrested following the discreet intelligence gathering carried out on 22nd February 2023 by a police monitoring unit that uncovered the criminal activities of the suspects.

Nonetheless, another seven suspected armed robbers who gained access to a community called Felele in Ibadan with guns and some other harmful weapons were arrested after the victims raised an alarm and attracted a police monitoring unit.
