Presidential Election Petition Tribunal: APC Hires Twelve SANs
The All Progressive Congress, APC, has hired twelve Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SANs, to defend the party at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
The All Progressive Congress, APC, has hired twelve Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SANs, to defend the party at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The Presidential candidates of the Labour Party Mr. Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party have filed a petition to the Court of Appeal, Abuja to inspect the election materials used during the Presidential poll which the court granted.
Following this, the ruling party has acquired the services of 12 SANs ably led by Lateef Fagbemi and the National Legal Adviser of the Party, Ahmad Usman El-Marzuq.
In a statement by Usman El-Marzuq ESQ. on Tuesday, it urged the members of the party to support the team in its effort to defend the will and mandate of the people.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has also filed a suit to the Court of Appeal in Abuja, to vary the orders it granted for candidates of the Labour Party, LP, and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to be allowed to inspect sensitive materials that were used for the presidential election.
It stated that the commission needed to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, ahead of the March 11 governorship and state assemblies elections as well as other rescheduled elections.
