Australia based Philanthropist, Dr. Barrister Okwun Ojah (Ogba Mkpu Ohafia), has congratulated Dr. Alex Otti on his victory as the governor-elect in Abia state following his formal declaration as the winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship election.
Ojah in his congratulatory message, noted that Otti’s victory with a wide margin, symbolises the wishes of teaming Abians who are eager to have a positive change in the state. He expressed optimism that with the personality of Otti, he is the best man for the job of attracting positive change into the state.
He described Otti as a governor-elect who is resilient and has the interest of the masses at heart and also knows how to hit the ground running.
Ojah further wished the governor-elect success as he “prepares to take up the responsibility and daunting task of clearing the ruins and drying the tears on the faces of Abians”.
Dr. Alex Otti of the Labour Party was declared the Abia state governor-elect on Wednesday, March 22, having polled 175,467 votes to beat his closest rival, Chief Okey Ahiwe of the PDP who polled 88,529.

Your victory with such a wide margin despite all obvious challenges has filled me with immense joy because it represents a true picture of the wishes of the masses who are yearning for a positive change in Abia state which only somebody of your personality and caliber can bring about.
I, therefore use this opportunity to heartily congratulate you on your well-deserved and over long success. My family and I wish you success as you prepare to take up the responsibility and daunting task of clearing the ruins and drying the tears on the faces of ndi Abia. May the Almighty God give you direction as you deploy your renowned abilities and brilliance to bring about the desired positive change in our dear state.
