Armed Men Open Fire on Worshippers, Kill One, Abduct Pastor
Suspected kidnappers have killed a worshipper, abducts three other worshippers, and the resident pastor of the Christian Pentecostal Church in Akenawe -Tswarev community, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday morning.
Suspected kidnappers have killed a worshipper, abducts three other worshippers, and the resident pastor of the Christian Pentecostal Church in Akenawe -Tswarev community, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday morning.

It was gathered that the church was attacked by assailants who opened fire on the worshippers during a night vigil by the assailants as it was in a prayer session led by the abducted pastor Gwadue Kwaghtyo.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the Chairman of Logo LGA, Mrs. Salome Tor stated that the injured are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
According to her, “It was early this morning (still night hours). A church in one of the branches went for a vigil. As they were praying, they were surrounded by armed men.
“They kidnapped three people, killed one boy, and injured two people with a machete; they are now in the hospital”.
