N100 Bribe: Police Arrest Officer, Okowa Orders Investigation
Following the killing of a young man by an operative of the Nigerian Police, the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has called for a thorough investigation while urging residents to remain calm.
Following the killing of a young man by an operative of the Nigerian Police, the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has called for a thorough investigation while urging residents to remain calm.

Reports say the young man was allegedly killed over an N100 bribe requested by the police stationed at Ugbolu-Asaba road on Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement, Governor Okowa also urged residents not to take laws into their hands and made it clear that the police officer has been arrested and is currently detained.
Governor Okowa also expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and affirmed the state government’s commitment to maintaining peace.
