Okowa Defeats Ned Nwoko, Wins Delta North APC Senatorial Primary
Former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta North Senatorial District direct primary election, defeating Senator Ned Nwoko by a wide margin.

According to the final results announced at the end of the exercise, Okowa secured a total of 113,309 votes to clinch the APC ticket for the Delta North Senatorial seat.
Ned Nwoko polled 2,612 votes, while Maryam Alli received 40 votes.
With the victory, Okowa is now set to fly the APC flag in the forthcoming senatorial election for Delta North in 2027.
