PEPT to Televise Judgment, Says Only Accredited Individuals Will Be Allowed in Courtrooms
The Court of Appeal has revealed that the 2023 Presidential Election Petition Tribunal judgment will be televised live on Wednesday, the 6th of September.
The Court of Appeal has revealed that the 2023 Presidential Election Petition Tribunal judgment will be televised live on Wednesday, the 6th of September.

A statement signed by the Chief Registrar, Umar M. Bangari Esq., stated that only accredited individuals including counsels and representatives of political parties will be allowed into the courtroom.
The judgment is between cases filed by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP versus the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, President Bola Tinubu.

Also the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, Labour Party versus INEC, President Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
LP and the PDP are challenging the process that produced President Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 election, the 25% compulsory votes for the Federal Capital Territory as engraved in the constitution, the $460,000 allegedly forfeited by President Tinubu to the United States system over narcotics.
The 2023 general election which was filled with violence and violation of the rights of citizens produced President Tinubu as the winner.
