Seminarian Burnt to Death as Assailants Set Parish House Ablaze
A young seminarian has been burnt to death after the parish house of Fadan-Kamantan, Zonkwa, Kafanchan in Southern Kaduna was attacked and set ablaze by unknown assailants on Thursday, 7th September 2023.
A young seminarian has been burnt to death after the parish house of Fadan-Kamantan, Zonkwa, Kafanchan in Southern Kaduna was attacked and set ablaze by unknown assailants on Thursday, 7th September 2023.

Disclosing this, Rev. Fr. Julian Ibe stated that two priests also attached to the parish escaped but the seminarian was not so lucky.


“The parish house of Fadan-Kamantan, Zonkwa, Kafanchan, was attacked and set ablaze yesterday, Thursday, 7th September 2023. The two priests barely managed to escape. However, this young seminarian on apostolic work burnt to death.
May God rest his soul.”
The late yet-to-be-identified seminarian who schooled at the Christ the King Major Seminary, Kafanchan was doing his apostolic work when the unfortunate incident happened.
