Man Murders Employer in FCT, Steals ATM Card, Others

A middle-aged man identified as Mr Abraham Aliyu has been arrested for murdering his employee named Mrs Dzuma Jidayi of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, quarters Garki in Abuja.

Luck ran out of the suspect when operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Command apprehended him after being on the run for almost two months after committing the crime.

It was gathered that the suspect was working on the deceased’s water factory and also assisted her in her home with chores. A minor disagreement ensued between them one day and he hit the deceased on the head with two iron rods which led to her death on the 10th of October 2023.

The suspect thereafter, stole her handbag, ATM card, and cash, and then escaped from the scene.

According to the spokesman of the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, the suspect has been detained and will be charged in court after the conclusion of the investigation.
