Junior Pope: AGN President Bars Actors from Riverine Film Locations
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Emeka Rollas has barred actors from films that involve working in riverine areas and boat riding following the tragic death of Mr John Paul Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope on Wednesday.
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Emeka Rollas has barred actors from films that involve working in riverine areas and boat riding following the tragic death of Mr John Paul Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope on Wednesday.

Junior Pope ans four others were on their way to a film location when their boat capsized in Anam, Anambra State. He was taken to the hospital after he was seen but confirmed dead at 9:30 pm.


On Thursday, AGN President barred actors from working with Adanma Luke as a producer till further notice and the movie ‘Another Side of Life’ which was being filmed by Jnr Pope was suspended indefinitely.
In honour of his death and four other crew members who are yet to be found, he further suspended the shooting of movie scenes at locations nationwide by Nollywood actors on 11th April 2024.
