Alex Ikwechegh Empowers 100 Constituents with Skills, Start-Ups
The member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency, Alex Ikwechegh, has provided skills training in tailoring and solar installation for 100 constituents.

The member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency, Alex Ikwechegh, has provided skills training in tailoring and solar installation for 100 constituents.
Mr Ikwechegh shared on social media that he also provided the people with cash start-ups and essentials during the event, which took place from July 25th to July 28th, 2024.
“After an intensive training program, I have empowered 100 of my constituents with skills in tailoring and solar installation, providing them with cash start-ups and essential materials to kick-start their businesses.
“The training exercise, which took place from the 25th to the 28th of July 2024, aimed to equip participants with practical skills and resources to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs. The program covered comprehensive training in tailoring and solar installation, including hands-on sessions and mentorship.”





According to him, each participant was provided with cash start-up funds to launch their businesses, tailoring machines for seamless operations, and solar installation kits for efficient and sustainable energy solutions.
He suggested that the initiative illustrates his dedication to empowering his constituents and fostering economic growth among the people of Aba North and South.
“By providing skills and resources, The whole idea is to help reduce unemployment and foster financial independence.
“This program is a testament to my dedication to community development and economic empowerment and will be a periodic occurrence as we move together with the people of Aba North and South on this journey of shared prosperity.”
