The Federal Government has partnered with Siemens Healthineers to enhance cancer care nationwide through a purchase agreement for advanced oncology equipment.

According to a statement from Tashikalmah Hallah, the Special Assistant to the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare on Media and External Relations, this collaboration aims to improve cancer treatment options for patients across the country.

Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, oversaw the signing of this important agreement between the Federal Government, represented by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), and Siemens Healthineers.
As part of the agreement, Siemens Healthineers will provide a 30% discount on the cost of equipment and offer comprehensive training for local healthcare professionals, ensuring that the new facilities are fully operational from day one.
