Police Arrest Notorious Kidnapper and Armed Robber

Pablo Mamu, a 38-year-old notorious kidnapper and armed robber from Ughelli, Delta State, was arrested by the Anambra State Police Command in collaboration with AVG Operatives in the early hours of December 23, 2024.

Pablo was apprehended following credible intelligence gathered by the Joint Security Team regarding his location. During a search conducted at the scene, officers recovered significant evidence, including one OFN rifle, one locally made pistol, one live 9mm ammunition, eight live cartridges, and a black Lexus 330 jeep with altered license plate numbers: Abuja registration ABJ 159 and Enugu registration JRV 928.

In a statement on Thursday, SP Tochukwu Ikenga commended the collaboration among security operatives and the vigilance of the public in providing actionable intelligence. The Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation to ensure the safety and security of all residents during and after the festive season.
