Another Catholic Priest Kidnapped in Abuja
A Catholic Priest of Shendam Rev. Fr. Cornelius Manzak Damulak has been kidnapped in his residence at Zuma, Bwari Area Council, Abuja on Thursday, 6th of February 2025.
A Catholic Priest of Shendam Rev. Fr. Cornelius Manzak Damulak has been kidnapped in his residence at Zuma, Bwari Area Council, Abuja on Thursday, 6th of February 2025.

In a statement signed by the Chancellor of Veritas University, Abuja, Rev. Fr. Joshua Daffa has called on all Christian faithfuls to pray for his safe release.
Many Catholic Priests have been reportedly kidnapped in Nigeria with some killed and some released after kidnapping.


On Nov. 5, 2024, Father Emmanuel Azubuike, pastor of St. Theresa Obollo Parish of the Diocese of Okigwe, was taken on his way back home from an assignment. He is yet to be released.
On June 9, 2024, Father Gabriel Ukeh was abducted from a parish rectory in the Diocese of Kafanchan and then released.
Father Oliver Buba, a priest of the Diocese of Yola, was abducted on May 21 in the diocese; he was later released.
