Police Arrest Man for K1lling Elder Brother Over Foodstuff
Police operatives from the Abagana Police Divisional Headquarters, along with AVG operatives, arrested 37-year-old Anthony Kosisochukwu Okafor for the murder of his 45-year-old elder brother, Mr Emmanuel Okafor, on February 7, 2025, at 7 PM.

The incident occurred in Adegbe Village, Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area, during a heated argument regarding the use of foodstuffs in their home.
Reports indicate that Kosisochukwu used a stick to pierce his brother’s chest during the confrontation.

The victim was quickly taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.
According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the spokesperson for the command, the case has been handed over to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka, and Kosisochukwu will be charged in court following the conclusion of the investigation.
