Psquare: EFCC Arraigns Jude Okoye Over Fresh Charges
Jude Okoye, the former manager of the defunct musical duo Psquare was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC on fresh charges of alleged theft of $1,019,763.87 and £34,537.59 before the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja on Tuesday.

Jude, who was granted bail of N100 million on Monday with two sureties in like form, arrived at the court accompanied by his counsel, Clement Onwuenwunor (SAN).

In the fresh charges marked Ref/99260/2025 before Justice Rahman Oshodi, Jude Okoye and his Northside Music Limited company are facing four counts preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Punch reports that the Prosecutor, Mohammed Bashiru, told the court that Jude and his Northside Music limited company dishonestly converted the sum of $767,544.15 to his own use, the alleged sum which was paid by Lex Records limited as payment for music digital distribution/publishing royalties with intent to deprive Peter Okoye his special interest in the property permanently.
