Troops Foil Kidnap Attempt, Rescue Two Women

In a recent operation, troops from Operation FANSAN YANMA successfully rescued two women, 35-year-old Dahara Yusuf and 25-year-old Jamila Yusuf, after foiling a kidnapping attempt in Turare Village, located in the Dutsinma Local Government Area.

Fortunately, both women were unharmed and have been reunited with their families.

Intelligence reports indicate that the attack took place around 2:18 a.m. when armed bandits raided the village and abducted the wives of a local resident, Yusuf Tsalha Mai Sa’ida.

In response, the troops were quickly deployed and engaged the bandits in a fierce gunfight, which forced the attackers to abandon their captives and flee, likely sustaining gunshot wounds in the process.
