Tinubu Declares Six Months State of Emergency on Rivers State
President Bola Tinubu has declared a six months State of Emergency on Rivers State following the political crisis and dispute between the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
President Bola Tinubu has declared a six months State of Emergency on Rivers State following the political crisis and dispute between the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Speaking on a World Press Conference on Tuesday, he asked the Governor, the Deputy Governor and all the members of the State House of Assembly to step down.

The State of Emergency will allow the President to make regulations and policies that will protect public property and ensure order in the State.
