Eid-el-fitr Celebration: Abia Govt Changes Dates for Flag-Off, Others
Following the Public Holidays declared by the Federal Government of Nigeria in view of the Eid El- Fitr celebrations’ and the effect on earlier scheduled programs, Abia state government hereby announce a change in dates of its earlier scheduled public events.

Following the Public Holidays declared by the Federal Government of Nigeria in view of the Eid El- Fitr celebrations’ and the effect on earlier scheduled programs, Abia state government hereby announce a change in dates of its earlier scheduled public events.
Consequently, the official flag-off of the Abia State Formal Sector Health Insurance Scheme,the commencement of the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation Hearing Mission in partnership with Abia State Ministry of Health and the formal launch of the Abia State Health Outreach will hold on April 10th, 2025.

Also, the commissioning of the recently completed 45-kilometer Umuahia – Uzuakoli -Akara – Alayi – Abiriba Road scheduled to have held at the Unity Church Uzuakoli, Bende LGA will now take place on April 11th, 2025.
The Abia State Government regrets any inconveniences the change in dates may cause members of the public.
The government therefore wishes to use this medium to once more invite members of the public to these events.
In due course,the exact time of take-off for the events would be made public.
