Just-In: EFCC Arrests E-Money for Dollar Abuse

Businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-money, has been reportedly arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC for spraying dollars in a social function.

It was gathered that he was arrested in his residence in Lagos on Monday night and is currently being flown to Abuja for further interrogation.

According to TheCable, a viral video showed him spraying American dollars at a social event, an act that violates the Foreign Exchange Act.
An EFCC insider revealed that preliminary investigations are ongoing, and he will be charged in court as soon as the probe is concluded.
Meanwhile, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale declined to comment on the matter.
