Just-In: Umo Eno Officially Defects to APC

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has officially announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). 

Speaking at a defection ceremony today, Governor Eno stated: “I have decided to progressively move to the All Progressives Congress. Let me assure you that our government has always been an inclusive government, and that will never change.”

The Governor who left the PDP months ago emphasized his commitment to serving the people of Akwa Ibom, saying:

“After completing the rounds of my consultation as your servant whom you have elected to serve, I have decided to progressively move to the APC.”

Governor Eno’s decision marks a significant shift in the political landscape of Akwa Ibom State.
