Teachers’ Recruitment: Abia Govt. Announces 2-day Orientation Program
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education wish to inform all the successful applicants in the just concluded 2025 Teachers Recruitment Exercise that there will be a 2-day orientation program as part of the onboarding process from 19th to 20th of June 2025 at different locations, while time is 9:00am each day.

A release signed by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education Elder Goodluck Ubochi says Applicants with NCE and Degree holders of ASUBEB and Secondary Education Management Board, for residents of Aba North, Aba South, Osisioma Ngwa, Ugwunagbo, Obingwa Isialagwa North and South, Ukwa East and Ukwa West Local Government Area will hold at Abayi Girls Secondary School, Aba.




According to the release, Degree holders under ASUBEB AND SEMB for residents and Non-residents of Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Bende, Arochukwu, Isuikwuato, Umunneochi, Ikwuano Local Government Area will be held at Ibeku High School Umuahia and SEMB Hall respectively.
The release states that attendance at the orientation is Compulsory for all successful applicants.
