Employees Murder Employer, Bury in Shallow Grave
A 56-year-old farmer, Henry Oyagbomwan, was reportedly murdered by five of his farm workers after he sold pineapples worth ₦900,000 in Ovia Northeast Local Government Area of Edo State.
A 56-year-old farmer, Henry Oyagbomwan, was reportedly murdered by five of his farm workers after he sold pineapples worth ₦900,000 in Ovia Northeast Local Government Area of Edo State.

The incident occurred at the victim’s farm in Igueze village, where sources revealed that Oyagbomwan had just concluded a sale of harvested pineapples before he was attacked.
According to police accounts, the suspects allegedly collected the proceeds from the sale, killed their employer, and buried his body in a shallow grave on the farm.




The suspects, believed to have fled to different parts of the country following the crime, include two individuals from Akwa Ibom State and three others from northern Nigeria.
Law enforcement authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
Further investigation is ongoing.
