ADC Leadership Resigns Nationwide to Pave Way for 2027 Opposition Coalition
The entire leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) across all states has officially stepped down to enable a seamless transition of the party’s structure into the emerging 2027 opposition coalition.

Outgoing National Chairman, Ralph O. Nwosu, made the announcement on Wednesday, describing the move as a “strategic sacrifice for a united front against the ruling party in the upcoming general elections.”
As part of the reorganisation, former Senate President Senator David Mark has been appointed as the interim National Chairman of the ADC, while former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola
Currently, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi, former Governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Ameachi and others are meeting at the Yar’adua event centre in Abuja for the unveiling of the Coalition vehicle.
