‘Anyone Could Have Taken It’ – Ibom Air Says Following Viral Nude Pictures of Unruly Passenger

The management of Ibom Air has officially denied any involvement in the circulation of a viral nude video allegedly showing popular social media personality, Comfort Emmanson, aboard one of its flights.

The footage, which has sparked widespread outrage and debate online, was reportedly recorded inside an Ibom Air aircraft during a forceful removal of Ms. Comfort Emmanson from the aeroplane on its arrival from Uyo to Lagos State.

However, the airline has made it clear that while the incident did occur on one of their planes, they were not responsible for capturing or distributing the video.

In a statement released by Aniekan Essienette, Group Manager of Marketing and Communications for Ibom Air on Tuesday, the company distanced itself from the incident.

“The video was recorded on the plane, but there were several people on board who were not Ibom Air employees. Anyone could have taken it,” Essienette stated.

“I can tell you categorically that Ibom Air did not release the video. We do not condone such indecent exposure, and, unfortunately, the video has gone viral,” she added.

The airline emphasised its commitment to upholding professional standards and passenger privacy, while also calling for responsible conduct both on board and online.

As of now, no official action has been announced regarding the individual who recorded or leaked the footage.
