ADC Forms Disciplinary Committee Amid Suspension of Abia Chairman
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) South East Zone has moved to address the leadership crisis rocking its Abia State chapter following the suspension of the State Chairman, Mr. Don Norman Obinna.

At an emergency meeting convened in Owerri by the National Vice Chairman of the party, Southeast, Bon Unachukwu, a three-man Investigative and Disciplinary Committee was constituted to look into the matter and make recommendations for an amicable resolution.
According to a statement issued after the meeting by the Zonal Publicity Secretary, Chilos Godsent, the committee is chaired by Dr. Uche Edeh, with Chioma Anyanwu as Secretary and Chilos Godsent as a member.
The committee, which has 14 days to conclude its assignment, is mandated to engage with key stakeholders, interact with factional groups, review petitions and relevant documents, and submit a report in line with the constitution of the party.
Godsent appealed to leaders, members, and factions of ADC in Abia State to remain calm and cooperate fully with the committee as it carries out its task.
Mr. Don Norman Obinna, who was recently suspended, faces allegations of misappropriation of party assets and financial misconduct and is expected to appear before the disciplinary panel.
