High-Profile Bandit Linked to ‘Full Fire’ Gang Arrested
Troops of the 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army, have apprehended a high-profile suspected bandit believed to be a key member of the notorious criminal gang led by the wanted kingpin, Akiki Utivi, also known as “Full Fire.”

The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Mr Saawuan Wuaiyolna of Tiv origin, was arrested on Wednesday at Takum Junction in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
His arrest followed a successful operation by troops from the Forward Operating Base (FOB), Wukari, who acted on credible intelligence regarding his movement.
According to military sources, Wuaiyolna, a native of Atereyange in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, was allegedly conducting surveillance on military operations in the area. He was reportedly monitoring troop activities to aid future attacks and kidnappings by the “Full Fire” syndicate.
The suspect was also found in possession of a motorcycle, which he claimed he intended to sell in Wukari. However, authorities believe the motorcycle may have been intended for operational use by the gang.
Further investigations are underway to uncover more details about the gang’s operations and Wuaiyolna’s specific role within the criminal network.
