Activist Fejiro Oliver Arrested for Demanding Better Healthcare for Citizens
Journalist and activist, Fejiro Oliver, has been arrested by the Delta State Government following his outspoken criticism of the deteriorating state of healthcare services in the State.

Fejiro was allegedly arrested by security operatives in Abuja and flown to Asaba on the orders of the Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
Fejiro demanded urgent reforms in the state’s healthcare system particularly in underserved communities such as Udu, Uweru, and several local government areas still lacking basic medical facilities.

Meanwhile, citizens have demanded the unconditional release of Fejiro, stating that the critical issues raised by the journalist should be tackled by the present administration in the State.
However, the State Government is yet to address the people regarding the circumstances surrounding Fejiro Oliver’s arrest.
