Say No to Imposition of Power – Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo

I stand in full support of the bold words of Mallam El-Rufai regarding the current state of our nation. The continuous imposition of APC on INEC and the judiciary is a dangerous path that threatens the very foundation of our democracy.

If care is not taken, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will attempt to perpetuate himself in power, turning our dear country into a one-party state where the will of the people is crushed under the weight of manipulation, intimidation, and control.

Every day, Nigerians are witnesses to the disheartening erosion of fairness, transparency, and justice. The judiciary, once the last hope of the common man, is now being forced into submission by political influence. INEC, which should be the umpire of our elections, has sadly become an instrument in the hands of those desperate to cling to power at all costs. This is not what Nigerians voted for. This is not the democracy our heroes past sacrificed for.

We must open our eyes. We must speak the truth without fear. APC has failed the people with lies, oppression, and militia-style dictatorship. They promised renewed hope, but what we see every day is renewed suffering. They promised good governance, but what we live with is high inflation, insecurity, corruption, and hardship.

Come 2027, Nigerians must rise with one voice to shun APC at the polls. We cannot continue on this destructive path where power belongs to a few while the masses are left to wallow in poverty and despair. It is time to defend our democracy, to reject imposition, and to prove that the sovereignty of Nigeria belongs to the people, not a cabal.

Let us unite, let us organise, and let us vote out tyranny. The time has come to end the cycle of deceit and bring forth leaders who will truly serve the people with honesty, justice, and accountability.
