Ikeji-Aro 2025: Aro Okeigbo Honours Arondizuogu, Ajalli, and Other Diaspora Communities

With just three days to go until the Ekekpe Aro Okeigbo, the Arochukwu Kingdom is honouring all Aro diaspora communities, including Arondizuogu, Aro Ajalli, Aro Ajatakiri, and others.

In a statement made by Dr Azubike Okoro, the Publicity Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, he highlighted that these diaspora communities have brought light and development beyond the ancestral home of the Arochukwu Kingdom. Their efforts have facilitated advancements that would otherwise have been impossible and they have become vital contributors to the growth and expansion of Aro culture.

Dr Okoro also announced that representatives from Izuogu and Iheme will be present at Ikeji Aro-Okeigbo 2025, symbolising the progress the kingdom has made since the rise of His Eminence Eze Dr Eberechukwu Oji, Eze Aro of the Arochukwu Kingdom.

He extended a warm welcome to all Aro diaspora communities attending the event and said a prayer that the new light in the Kingdom which represents unity, faith, love, and a shared belief in one Heavenly Father, will accompany all sons and daughters of Arochukwu, Umu Chukwu.

Providing further details on series of activities related to Ekekpe Aro-Okeigbo as its cscendo builds up, Dr Azubike Okoro said that an hour interactive radio show is slated for Thursday morning at Love FM radio station, Umuahia.

The CPC Chair, Barr Oscar Okoro and the Publicity Chief of Nzuko Arochukwu Worldwide, Dr Eustace Njaka would join the SA, Media to Eze Aro, Okey Imuoh to field questions and provide answers to enlighten the public on the ikeji festival. Other officials, such as head of protocols, Secretary General, CPC will join the program via phone.
