Thief Caught on CCTV Stealing Pumping Machine Again

A thief was captured on CCTV stealing a pumping machine from the home of Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, on Monday around 3:10 am.

According to a review of the CCTV footage, this thief is the same individual who was recorded by security cameras in September while stealing valuables worth N230,000.

In the recent incident, the thief entered the compound and searched for items to steal. After failing to find anything of value, he damaged the pumping machine and took it, leaving water dripping around the property.

Speaking to Newsleverage, the governorship aspirant of the ADC in Ogun State expressed concern that Rockvale Manors Estate in Abuja has been a target for theft for quite some time, with many residents reporting similar incidents.

He called for improved security measures both within the estate and across the country, stating, “We no longer feel safe. This is the second occurrence, and I was not present when it happened. I was informed only after the water began to pool in the compound.”

Another resident noted that fellow residents have also been voicing their concerns about insecurity and theft, urging for enhanced security nationwide.

Despite multiple reports of the robbery, the estate’s security team has yet to take action regarding the ongoing thefts.
