How My Two-Year-Old Girl Was Molested in Abuja School’ – Mother Seeks Justice

A mother has recounted how her two-year-old daughter was molested by a male teacher at Abundant Life Academy, Gwarinpa, Abuja, on 17th October 2025, and how the authorities have allegedly been reluctant to investigate the matter.

According to the mother, when her daughter returned home that day, her third day at school, she was crying and had bruising on her private parts.

She immediately took her to hospital, where it was confirmed that she had been molested. She reported the incident to the police, who appeared indifferent to investigate after initially arresting and releasing the perpetrator, and to the school, which offered her N500,000 to settle the case.

The Medical Report Confirms She Was Sexually Molested, Yet The Nigerian Police Have Refused To Act. After I Reported The Case To The Police, The School Offered Me ₦500,000 To “Settle” And Keep Quiet. I Rejected The Money Because I Want Justice, Not Hush Money. Instead Of Facing Consequences, The Perpetrator Has Been Released. Now The School Is Using The Same Nigerian Police I Reported To, To Intimidate And Threaten Me Because I Refuse To Back Down.
