Catholic Priest Rev. Fr. Paschal Abducted and Slain by Terrorists

Rev. Fr. Bobbi Paschal, Parish Priest of St. Stephen’s Parish in Kushe Gugdu, Kagarko Local Government Area, Kaduna State, was murdered by terrorists in the early hours of 19 November 2025.

On Monday, heavily armed gunmen stormed the parish residence, abducting Fr. Paschal along with several other community members. During the raid, a relative of another priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony Yero, was killed.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna, through its chancellor, Rev. Fr. Christian Okewu Emmanuel, appealed for prayers for the victims, calling on “all men and women of goodwill” to join in praying for their safe return or peaceful repose.
