Terrorists Invade Catholic School, Abduct Nearly 100 Students
100 pupils from St. Mary’s Private Primary and Secondary (Catholic) School were reportedly kidnapped by armed assailants in Papiri community, Agwara Local Government Area last night.

Sources say the attack occurred between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., when gunmen stormed the school campus. According to Ahmed Abdullahi Rofia, the Head of Disaster and Relief for Agwara LGA, both students and some teachers were abducted.
Community insiders described the operation as coordinated and brutal, adding that the gunmen overpowered the school’s security and whisked away children from the boarding facilities. Local reports suggest that both boys and girls were taken.
One eyewitness on social media claimed: “Over 100 students and several teachers were abducted.”
Recall that a few days ago, 25 students were abducted from the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Kebbi State, while the vice principal was killed and others were injured during the attack.
