Drug Free World Africa Set to Unveil First Youth Drug-Abuse Education Workbook

Drug Free World Africa (DFWA) is poised to make history as it announces its official inauguration alongside the public presentation of its pioneering drug-abuse education workbook titled “Steering Dynamic Drug-Free Youth.”

According to DFWA President Engr. Chinagorum Nkaru, and Hon. Dr. Marcillina Okereke formerly SA On Health Matters to Imo State Gov., the Country’s Representative of Drug Free World Africa, the new workbook, designed as an accessible leaflet for students and community groups will play a critical role in strengthening prevention efforts and empowering youth with knowledge.

The landmark event, scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, is being hailed as a significant step toward building a healthier, drug-free generation across the continent.

The ceremony will take place at the Dame Pauline Tallen Banquet Hall of the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development in Abuja, drawing distinguished guest speakers, youth advocates, and anti-drug-abuse visionaries from across Africa.

With the organisation’s tag line, “Together, we can end drug abuse”, the event is not just a summit but the launch of a movement to protect young people and reshape Africa’s future.

Centred on the theme “From Awareness to Action: Together We Can End Drug Abuse,” the event aims to convert rising awareness about drug misuse into sustained, collective action.
