Tragic: Three Days After Wedding, Man Allegedly Killed by Wife

A tragic incident has reportedly occurred in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State, where a newly married man, Abubakar Dan Gaske Mai Nasara, was allegedly killed by his wife, Aisha Muhammad, just three days after their wedding.

The incident was said to have taken place in the early hours of Sunday, 23 November 2025, at their residence in Jibia.

According to local sources, Abubakar was asleep when his wife allegedly attacked him with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries.

Community members who rushed to the scene confirmed that Abubakar had already succumbed to his injuries before help could arrive.

Authorities are reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, while Aisha Muhammad has allegedly been taken into custody for questioning.
