Ogah Congratulates Abia-Born Rear Admiral C.E. Oji on Naval Promotion
Abia-born industrialist and philanthropist, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has congratulated Rear Admiral Chinonyerem Emmanuel Oji on his elevation to the rank of Rear Admiral in the Nigerian Navy, describing the promotion as both meritorious and deeply inspiring.

In a congratulatory message issued on December 2, 2025, Dr Ogah praised Rear Admiral Oji as a model military officer whose career has been defined by intelligence, courage, humility, discipline, and unwavering patriotism. He said Oji’s ascent through the naval hierarchy reflects years of outstanding service and operational excellence in safeguarding Nigeria’s maritime domain.
Dr Ogah lauded the newly promoted Rear Admiral as a shining example of the “Abia spirit of excellence,” noting that his achievements reinforce the state’s reputation for producing exceptional leaders and innovators. According to him, Oji’s success demonstrates that “when diligence meets character, the world cannot ignore the light that shines forth.”
He urged Rear Admiral Oji to remain committed to the virtues that have shaped his career: professionalism, strategic foresight, and loyalty to Nigeria, expressing confidence that the Navy will continue to benefit from his experience and visionary leadership. The promotion, he noted, will further strengthen maritime defence operations and inspire younger service members.
Dr Ogah celebrated Oji as “a shining light of Abia State” and a symbol of what becomes possible when passion aligns with purpose.
Rear Admiral Oji, an indigene of Ikwuano LGA in Abia State, is among the senior officers recently elevated by the Nigerian Navy, solidifying his standing as one of the nation’s most respected and accomplished maritime security leaders.
