Police Arrest Five Over Armed Robbery, Vandalism
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested five male suspects linked to a case of armed robbery, conspiracy, and vandalism at an international company in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area.

According to a statement issued on 11 December 2025 by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, the operation was carried out on the evening of 8 December by officers of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Awkuzu in collaboration with personnel from the Neni Divisional Headquarters.
During the coordinated operation, police recovered a pump-action gun, ten live cartridges, and a black motorcycle believed to have been used during the crime.
The arrested suspects were identified as: 20-year-old Okemili Chikwado, 23-year-old Collins Nwakpa, 18-year-old Chukwuemeka Igboke, 18-year-old Nwali Chinedu, and 22-year-old Ekene Nwakwo.
SP Ikenga stated that the suspects confessed to their involvement in the robbery and vandalism and further identified an individual named Arinze as the major receiver of the stolen items.
He added that investigations are ongoing, with efforts intensified to track down additional fleeing suspects and recover the vandalised equipment.
The police urged the public to remain vigilant and continue providing useful information that could aid ongoing security operations in the state.
