FCTA Workers Directed to Resume Work Following Court Order Suspending Strike
Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) have been directed to resume duty following an order of the National Industrial Court suspending the ongoing strike action by FCT Administration staff.

The directive was issued by Nancy Sabanti Nathan, the Acting Head of Service of the FCT after the National Industrial Court, sitting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, ordered the suspension of the industrial action declared by the Joint Union Action Committee (JUAC).
According to the directive, all FCTA workers are to return to work on Wednesday, while Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Departments and Agencies have been instructed to ensure strict maintenance of the staff attendance register.
The strike, which disrupted activities across FCTA offices, was called by JUAC over salary arrears and welfare issues of the FCT.
