APC Replaces Uzodinma with Masari as Chairman of 2026 National Convention Committee
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reconstituted the leadership of its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, replacing Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma with former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari as chairman.

Governor Uzodimma, who was earlier appointed to head the committee, has now been reassigned to serve as treasurer, according to party document seen by Newsleverage.
In addition to the leadership change, the APC has expanded the committee’s membership from 73 to 90.
Newly added members include Senator Barry Mpigi and several other prominent APC chieftains drawn from across the country.
