A young woman identified as Tanidem on X formerly known as Twitter has received sanitary pad products from Besense after she publicly raised concerns about the brand’s pads.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Tanidem disclosed that after sharing her complaints, the company reached out to her to better understand the issues she experienced. According to her, Besense listened to her concerns and subsequently sent her a variety of their products for assessment.

She said the products were provided strictly for review purposes, adding that she intends to use them and give an honest evaluation of her experience. Tanidem also expressed appreciation to the company’s representative, @GooniteHyg88261, for taking customer feedback seriously.

As part of her review process, she announced plans to share some of the products with others around the Kwara Polytechnic and University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) axis, inviting interested individuals to respond so the items could be distributed.

Emphasising transparency, Tanidem thanked those who amplified her concerns, noting that their collective voices helped draw the company’s attention to the issue.

Tanidem had previously complained about the pad stating that it is causing rashes, itching and burning. She also revealed that many women are suffering from those symptoms and called on the company to fix the issue or shut down.

“A product meant for women’s hygiene should NOT be injuring women. This is dangerous and unacceptable. Please help tag and repost, if people can share their experience about this, it could probably make them change.

“Besense pads literally injured me. Rashes, itching, burning, cuts, every single time. Switched pads to Softcare, no problem. Used Besense again because the Softcare finished, the problem came back immediately.

“Found out MANY women are reacting the same way.
This is reckless. If your pads are harming women, you have no business selling them. Fix it or shut it down.”
