Nigeria is a nation blessed with abundant human and natural resources, yet the daily reality faced by millions of citizens tells a painful story. Under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), many Nigerians feel overwhelmed by economic hardship, insecurity, rising inflation, unemployment, and a growing sense of uncertainty about the future.

We are told to be patient.
We are told that reforms take time.
We are told that sacrifice is necessary. But how long must ordinary Nigerians continue to bear the weight of policies that seem disconnected from their everyday struggles?

The cost of living has skyrocketed. Food prices have risen beyond the reach of average families. Transportation costs have multiplied. Small businesses are struggling to survive. Young graduates roam the streets without meaningful employment. The gap between promises made during campaigns and the realities on the ground appears wider than ever.

Leadership is not about slogans or political messaging. Leadership is about accountability, transparency, empathy, and measurable progress. Many citizens feel that instead of clear communication and practical solutions, they are met with political narratives that do not match their lived experiences.

Nigeria deserves leaders who:
▪️Speak honestly about challenges.
▪️Take responsibility for policy outcomes.
▪️ Prioritise security and economic stability.
▪️Invest in youth development and job creation.
▪️Protect democratic institutions.
▪️Govern with integrity and transparency.

Democracy is not blind loyalty to any political party. Democracy is about holding leaders accountable. It is about demanding better governance, regardless of party affiliation. When citizens express dissatisfaction, it is not an act of disloyalty to the nation it is an act of patriotism.

As 2027 approaches, Nigerians must reflect deeply on the direction of the country. Elections are not merely events; they are opportunities to reshape the future. It is time to move beyond propaganda, beyond divisive politics, and beyond empty rhetoric.

We must demand:
▪️Clear economic strategies that reduce inflation and create jobs.
▪️A comprehensive security plan that restores peace across all regions.
▪️Genuine anti-corruption efforts applied equally and fairly.
▪️Policies that strengthen education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
▪️Transparent governance that welcomes scrutiny rather than silences criticism.

Nigeria is bigger than any political party. It is bigger than APC. It is bigger than any individual leader. Our loyalty must always be to the nation and its future generations.

▪️This is not about hate. It is about hope.

▪️It is not about division. It is about direction.

▪️It is not about anger. It is about accountability.

If leadership fails to meet expectations, citizens have the constitutional right to seek change through peaceful, lawful, democratic means. Let 2027 be a year of informed choices, civic responsibility, and collective determination to build a Nigeria that truly works for everyone.

Enough of governance that feels distant from the people. Enough of promises without performance. Enough of policies without compassion.

Nigeria deserves better.

The people deserve better.
