Civil Servants Absent as Governor Soludo Makes Surprise Visit to Anambra Secretariat
Some civil servants of the Anambra State Civil Service Secretariat were missing from their duty posts when Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo made an unscheduled visit to the complex on Thursday.

The governor, who arrived without prior notice, reportedly moved through several offices within the secretariat to assess staff attendance and general productivity.
Many offices were either locked or sparsely occupied during official working hours.
He questioned some of the desks which were without occupants and inquired why they should still be on their way to work at 10 am when work resumes at 8 am.
Some staff members who were present appeared visibly startled by the governor’s arrival, while others quickly attempted to justify the absence of their colleagues.
