FG Secures Agréments for Ambassador-Designates from 10 Countries
The Federal Government has secured agréments for its ambassador-designates from ten countries weeks after appointment.

The countries that have approved include the United Kingdom, France, the United States of America, Ireland, Qatar, the Republic of Benin, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Senegal, and Sierra Leone. Responses from other countries are still being awaited.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, who noted that the approvals signal growing international cooperation and readiness to deepen bilateral relations with Nigeria.
According to the statement, the date for the formal induction ceremony of the ambassador-designates will be announced in due course.
The ministry explained that arrangements are ongoing and will be finalised upon confirmation by the Presidency.
