Just-In: NYSC Member Drowns in Bayelsa Beach
A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), identified as Ajetunmobi Sunday Dayo, has reportedly drowned at a beach in Bayelsa State.
According to reports, the tragic incident occurred on Saturday when the corps member visited Okumbiribeleu Beach in Akassa community, located in Brass Local Government Area, for a picnic outing.
It was gathered that Dayo went missing after entering the water, prompting a search effort in the area. His body was later discovered on Monday after it was washed ashore by the tide at the beach.
Officials of the NYSC in Bayelsa State subsequently buried the deceased following the approval of his parents.
