Martina Ononiwu Backs Chinedum Orji After Ikwuano/Umuahia Primaries Defeat

Hon. Martina Ononiwu, an aspirant in the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency primaries, has publicly declared her full support for Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji following the conclusion of the All Progressive Congress APC primary election.

Speaking at the Stakeholders meeting on Friday, Ononiwu lauded party leaders and urged members to remain united for the overall success of the party in Abia State.

“I will support Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji. I want to thank everybody. I want to thank Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, because of you, we have a strong party in Abia State. Oftentimes when there’s a winner, there will be grumbling, but I’ll support you, Hon. Chinedum Orji, with my full chest,” she stated.

She stated that it was a show of sportsmanship to support the winner in a contest and prayed that the Party continues to grow.

Recall that the Abia State chapter of the APC declared the former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji was declared the winner of the Party primaries for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat on Thursday.
