Uzor Kalu Reaffirms Commitment to Abia North, Backs Tinubu’s Development Agenda
As the Senate resumed plenary on Wednesday following weeks of recess, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK), representing Abia North Senatorial District, reaffirmed his commitment to legislative service and the development of his constituents.

The former Abia State governor said he returned to parliamentary duties reinvigorated after participating in the primary elections of his political party during the break.
“As the Senate resumes today after weeks of recess, during which lawmakers participated in the primaries of their respective political parties, I return reinvigorated and fully committed to my legislative duties and responsibilities,” Kalu stated.
The senator emphasised that his dedication to the people of Abia North remains steadfast, pledging to continue pursuing programmes and interventions that will have a direct impact on the lives of his constituents.
“My commitment to the people of Abia North remains unwavering. I will continue to pursue impactful interventions that will directly benefit my constituents, with a strong focus on infrastructure development, human capital development, and legislative initiatives that improve the lives of our people,” he said.
Kalu also reiterated his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, promising to work collaboratively with the executive arm of government to advance policies aimed at national development and improved welfare for Nigerians.
“I also remain committed to working diligently with our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to support the administration’s objectives and contribute to policies and programmes that will advance national development and improve the welfare of all Nigerians,” he added.
