Family of Late Mary Habila Petitions IGP Over Daughter’s Corpse
The family of the late Mary Habila has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), requesting the release of their daughter’s body for burial.
Mary Habila reportedly died in the residence of Senator David Umahi, the minister of Works.
The family, in their petition, appealed to the police authorities to release her remains, expressing their desire to give their daughter a dignified burial while awaiting the outcome of ongoing investigations
Speaking in a viral video, the father Mr Habila Wisdom Tanko said “we don’t want autopsy, we want our daughter’s corpse for burial.”
