Eze Aro IX Thanks God for Defeating False Prophecies, Marks Second Anniversary with Thanksgiving Service
His Eminence Eze Dr. Eberechukwu Oji, Eze Aro IX of Arochukwu Kingdom, has dismissed the false prophecies that emerged during his ascension to the throne and thanked God for a successful second year on the throne.

Speaking during his thanksgiving service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Amannagwu, Arochukwu, on Sunday, His Eminence recalled the false prophecies that were made and thanked God for not allowing them to come to pass. He said he was most grateful to God for preserving peace and unity in the kingdom. He also prayed that God would bless the kingdom with industries that would provide jobs for the people of Arochukwu Kingdom.
Preaching on the theme, “The Throne of Gratitude” from Hebrews 4:16 and Psalm 100:4, Pastor Sunday Nwazue said every throne represents power and judgement, but the throne of God is the throne of grace. He noted that God invites His people to come before His throne not with fear but with gratitude.
He emphasized that thanksgiving is the key that opens the gate to God’s presence. Through thanksgiving, mercy is released, grace is multiplied, and lives are transformed. He added that no one remains the same after approaching God’s throne with a grateful heart, describing gratitude as the key that opens the throne room.
“Thanksgiving opens closed spiritual doors. Before presenting your request, present your thanksgiving to God. The throne of grace is open to every believer. Gratitude attracts mercy. A thankful heart experiences great favor. Thanksgiving brings victory before the battle ends.”
Contributing, Eze Ibom Isii, Mazi Amos Egbu Okoro, citing Psalm 118, said, “It is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” He said that through all the battles fought and the obvious rape of justice, he had learned to trust in God.
Speaking further, Professor Okoro Ijoma, Chairman of NzukoArochukwu Patrons, appreciated God for His protection, especially throughout the four-day event. He also lauded His Eminence for his vision for the kingdom.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of gifts by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Amannagwu, to His Eminence in celebration of his successful second year on the throne, as well as prayers offered for His Eminence and his entourage, who had come to appreciate God for His faithfulness.
Among those in attendance were the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Barrister Kingsley Uba Okoro; Mazi Francis Okoro; Professor Achinivu; Engr. Dr. Okezie Abarikwu; Evangelist Chinyere Lancaster Okoro; Adaukwu Mrs. Nnenna Nkemakolam, President of Nzuko Aro Women’s Wing, Home Branch; Barrister Oscar Okoro; Eze Ogos; Ugwuaros; and other dignitaries.
